Taiwan Pride has grown steadily to become East Asia's largest Pride celebration, with 180,000 attendees in 2024, reflecting rising international interest, including potential Australian participation.

Our goal is to promote Taiwan Pride, Taiwanese culture, and businesses by leveraging Sydney Mardi Gras—a globally recognised event and NSW’s second-largest annual economic contributor. This platform drives tourism (accommodation, dining, and retail), fosters inclusivity and community visibility, and provides opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and brand promotion, benefiting both LGBTQIA+ and broader audiences globally.

Taiwan Pride in Sydney (TPS) will operate independently, aims to collaborate with Taiwan Pride, Taiwan's diplomatic office, business associations, and Sydney Mardi Gras. TPIS advances social inclusion, diversity, and human rights by providing a supportive platform for the Taiwanese LGBTQIA+ community. Through education, advocacy, and public engagement, it empowers individuals, amplifies underrepresented voices, and fosters respect, acceptance, and belonging. By partnering with organisations like Sydney Mardi Gras, TPIS celebrates cultural diversity, promotes queer-friendly businesses (especially those led by Taiwanese-Australians), and strengthens community ties to champion inclusion and equality.

Taiwan Pride 穩步逐年成長，已成為東亞規模最大的驕傲慶祝活動，2024年預計將吸引18萬名參與者，展現出國際間與日俱增的關注度，包括澳洲方面的潛在參與。

我們的目標是透過Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras—這個全球知名的節慶活動，同時也是新南威爾斯州第二大年度經濟貢獻來源—來推廣 Taiwan Pride、臺灣文化和企業。這項慶典不僅能促進旅遊業發展（包含住宿、餐飲和零售），更能提升包容性與社群能見度，並創造合作、贊助和品牌推廣的機會，使LGBTQIA+群體及全球更廣大的觀眾共同受益。

Taiwan Pride Sydney（TPS）/ 台灣同志雪梨協會 - 將作為獨立組織運作，並與 Taiwan Pride、臺灣外交與官方機構、商業協會及Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras（SGLMG）建立合作關係。TPS 透過提供支持平台，致力推動臺灣 LGBTQIA+社群的社會包容、多元性及人權。我們透過教育、倡導和公眾參與，致力賦予個人力量與空間，強化少數群體的發聲管道，並促進社會的尊重、接納與歸屬感。透過與 SGLMG 等組織的合作，TPS 將致力於慶祝文化多樣性，支持 LGBTQIA+友善企業（特別是臺裔澳洲社群經營的企業），並強化社群連結，倡導包容與平等。
